After struggling with small lined notary journals and page covers I designed my own journal – one page per signing that’s so easy to use and record all the vital information that is required.  There are also checkboxes to help you record information faster. Plus there is room for mileage, notary fee, etc. and your notes and contacts.
 
California notaries will appreciate that they can simply transfer the “a, b, c or d” next to the signers name to the name of the document to indicate who signed it.
